Shakin’ My Goodies In Your Face

I wanted to thank Ryan for nominating my blog for “Endurance Blog of the Year,” so I asked him what size feet he had. He told me he had size 13 skis. That’s not the answer I wanted. I asked if he had a girlfriend/wife/running buddy who had about 10.5 (male) size feet. He said that would fit his wife perfectly (who is a recent first-time marathoner)! So, as a “thank you” for nominating my blog, I sent his wife an assortment of 8 (unworn) pairs of Drymax socks from the stash that I won a few months ago:

I hope she loves them as much as I do! The gray and orange trail socks are my FAV!

Literally as soon as I got home from mailing the “thank you” socks, UPS showed up on my steps. It was my prize for winning Blog of the Year. How’s that for karma: I send a gift, I receive a gift! I got all kinds of goodies from Zeal Optics...

That’s a super pair of $130 sunglasses for free! Sweet! They’re great! I’ve only worn them driving a few times, but I hope to wear them for my Winter Carnival half-marathon. I’ll have photos when I wear them some more!
