IM New Orleans 70.3 in the Books!!

Everyone finished!! Team Evotri did GREAT, and Pharmie and I came in around when we thought we would!
Here’s the cliff-notes version of my race:
Swim: I was all over the place. I thought I was doing poorly. Ended up with nearly a PR!
Bike: I had to keep telling myself to slow up! There was a NASTY headwind on the way back, and I was a little under-trained, so my time was 10-15 minutes slower than I would have liked. But I wasn’t complaining!
Run: I nearly threw in the towel in T2. I hopped off my bike, and my left hammy (up real high and in the inside near my gootch/taint area) was on fire! I tried to take a poo in the porta-potty in transition, and I completely collapsed on the seat when I tried to sit down. I almost didn’t leave transition - I was HURT! I thought I’d give the run a try. I nearly fell down the little hill out of transition because of the sharp pain. But I started running. The pain was bearable. I got faster, and faster, and faster. NEVER have I given so much mental and physical effort in a race as I did in that run. In the end, with my broken butt, I was able to run a 1:36:28 half marathon! (A 70.3 PR for me in the run by 11 minutes.) Never have I been so emotional during and ending a race: there was 10X the emotion compared to my IM WI finish.
Total: I got it: I walked away with PR by a few minutes!

Macca was all over the blogosphere lately! lol
You're like the third person I've read who say him and/or talked to him.
I raced with him! (at lavaman)
One of my teammates needed help getting her bike back into the slot at the transition and asked a random stranger to help her... turned out it was Chris (She didn't know who he was until later) He was a great sport and helped her deflate her tire so she should get it back into the racks.
Overall he seems like an excellent guy as well as a stellar athlete.
Well done Mr. Inaspeedogross, well done!
