A group of students in one of my college classes loves to check the "missed connections" page on craigslist. We found this following post in that page, and the woman who posted it mentioned the recent Valentines Day TC 5K.

OOoo... I kinda like the running tights if the guy is in shape. Shorts over the top makes it look like they are a prude, in my opinion anyway. Either wear the tights or don't. :)
Like anyone should bother listening to a woman who can't even spell? Pfffftt! With the right body they are just fine and any woman who thinks otherwise is a moron.

Oh no, she's wrong. I like them, but only in the really fit dudes. Sorry, as with women... no muffin tops allowed, toned muscles/bodies only.
I never wear shorts over my tights. I'm not in perfect shape but not in bad shape either. Also, I could care less what people think - when I'm running all I care about is being comfortable. Grocery store - nope, only when running.
Totally disagree with Craigslist Lady. For one thing most runners aren't going to races to pick up chicks/dudes. Most. I am sure there are some creepers out there who do.
Second, shorts over running tights are THE WORST. Like, out of all things in the universe that are not good, shorts over tights win all.
Mark me down for totally disagreeing with the craigslist lady too.
And I just noticed Molly's comment... I second exactly what she said (as usual).
I LOVE my men in running tights! It takes confidence to wear them, which is why I hate when people wear shorts over them. If you got it, flaunt it proudly!
But yeah, grocery store is definitely off-limits. Only when running.
