Friday was a celebration of Rick Recker's life. I was unable to attend, but I saw part of Olympian Carrie Tollefson talking about Rick as it was streamed. If you remember, I posted about his passing in February.

The mayor of Minneapolis (a former elite runner) proclaimed on Friday that it was "Rick Recker Day." See the 2nd image for a more readable version:
