Welcome Our New Kitty!

A week ago, I posted a good-bye to Clark as he was put down unexpectedly early Sunday morning (11 days ago). This past Sunday morning, we picked up a new 11-week-old kitten from a kitten rescue. This is Enid (or Eeny):

She lives in Henry's room right now. We've let her out to explore the house for a few hours these last few days, and her and big Bruce are getting along well! But then she's back in there for the night.

... but she fell asleep after I kept pushing her away from my lunch.

Henry was woken up every hour the first night by nibbles to his watch or nose. The next 2 nights, he smartly just went up onto his top bunk when he got woken up (and she didn't wake him up any more by whining after that): 3 a.m. on the 2nd night, and pretty soon after going to bed on the 3rd night.
