December in Review

>> Thursday, January 07, 2021

Here's what December's training looked like:

I'm quite happy with this consistency considering I was wrapping up 2 classes, it was Christmas, and I took the boys out on 3 different state park trips that month: Forestville camper cabin, Afton yurt, and Itasca "4 seasons" suite.

My running milage dropped just a little from November (from 94 to 89 miles), but that's mainly due to the timing of my long runs: November started and ended with a long run as it had 5 Mondays, but December only had 4 Monday long runs. So no concern there.

But December's trainer time (in purple) was the biggest month of all of 2020. I had more "sports" minutes in October (as seen in my "year in review" post), but some of that was hiking time that I noted. December had roughly 157 "miles" on the trainer, whereas October had 8 fewer miles.

Strength was where it was all year. I had 7 months with less strength time, and 4 months with more: 1.86k minutes was my smallest month, and 2.25k was my largest, and Dec was 2.09k.

Swimming is still 0. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
