Friday Funny 193: Emergency Breast Pump
>> Friday, June 17, 2011
Tuesday evening we loaded little Henry into the car for the first time and headed home from the hospital.
A few hours later.... well.... we'll just let Facebook tell the story:
What makes it funnier is that 20 minutes later, my former student posted this photo on my Facebook wall:
A colleague commented on my status: "Welcome to parenthood. Expect bizarre conversations." (As if some of my conversations weren't bizarre enough already...)

Dude thats nothing! In a few months youll be having conversations about vomit and how henry managed to poop on his own shoulders in the restaurant!
my husband used to tell everyone, even strangers, about my abnormal amount of breast milk stored in the freezer and that i had "porn star" boobs thanks to breast feeding. i think new parenthood somehow removes the filter between brain and mouth!
I used to joke about making breast milk lattes. Odd how only people with small children thought it was funny...
My husband took a picture of our son's first poop. If we had had Facebook back in the day he probably would have posted it! That is weird!
Get ready for the poop discussions - it's amazing just how much you'll talk about that.
Just be VERY CLEAR with the labeling of containers in the fridge. Just sayin.
Just wait, the conversations get more and more interesting. Kudos for buying Pharmie a quality breast pump.
Oh parenthood seems like so much fun. But please, don't do or post anything that'll get you on TV. It never goes well.
Former student? She looks like your sister. Seriously. If I had the photshop skills, I'd put her hair on your head and you'd look like twins!
That's absolutely fantastic! :)
many more late night Target runs in your future...
Congrats on the birth of your son... and welcome to parenthood! My relatively new (3 mos old) son is also a Henry!! People often gives us interesting looks when they hear the name... a "you don't hear that name too often and I am not sure how I feel about it" look. But we love the name. Anyway - curious to know what you and your wife have been calling him - Hank, Henry, Harry, Hen - my husband particularly HATES this one but sometimes I can't help myself... its a tendency to short names to one syllable. But we tend to call our Henry - Henry, Hank, Hankapotamus, Hankster, Hankasaurus, etc.
That's hilarious..........
I'm with "anonymous". You may not be BFFs, but you look like family!
