Friday Funny 72: Six Random, Random Things That Make Me Laugh!

>> Friday, January 22, 2010

If these don’t make you smile, then we can’t be friends anymore....

And quite possibly the best one of them all:

So I think I’m all set for the race tomorrow morning! I did an easy 4 miler yesterday, and I think I found what I want to wear for the race: just Under Armour and Sugoi Compression Tights on my lower half, and a thicker Nike shirt and a windbreaker on top (maybe another thin shirt if it’s pouring rain, which they’re talking about...). I like the look of my thicker “winter running” Drymax socks on the OUTSIDE of my tights, so if you’re cheering or running the race, look for me running by in this:

Damn, that looks SWEET! ;)

Wish me luck! Pray that the rain holds off until about 11 am tomorrow! (Because 25 degrees and pouring rain over 13.1 miles SUCKS!)

Those are hilarious!

Good luck tomorrow. Hoping this storm rolling through will hold off a bit for you to get your race on!

Hi Steve,
Those are all very funny, just what I need for a Friday morning:)

I will be sure to keep an eye out for you and your red socks!! I just purchased a new water proof baby blue jacket from the Running Room. It is not my favorite color but hopefully it will do the job and keep me warm and dry. Hopefully I will see you tomorrow...if by chance I don't, have a great race:)

You need a Friday Funny on your Tips for Success With Women--Tip #2: Don't wear your socks like this. It is a good thing that Pharmie already has you for life.

Good Luck this weekend and I will be praying for no rain.

HA! Thanks Liz!! (And good point....)

Iron Girl Nyhus 8:03 AM, January 22, 2010

That is the exact same weather as the Disney Half in Florida a couple weeks ago!

GOOOOOOD LUUUUUCK! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Matt Ellenberger 8:23 AM, January 22, 2010

25 degrees? Weather.com said a balmy 38, or at least it did. Doesn't really matter I guess

Chris 8:39 AM, January 22, 2010

Those were hysterical. Good luck tomorrow!

Good luck. Too bad you guys don't live in Atlanta, because I'm wearing shorts this EVENING for a run.

A little more salt & lemon juice in that wound: a Kilt next weekend! Yeah! I said it! A KILT!

Thanks for the laughs!!

I actually like running in the rain, but not for 13.1miles! I'll be praying to the rain gods to wait until after the race!

Best of luck tomorrow...ohh and I'm digging the red socks..ha ha!

Badgergirl 11:33 AM, January 22, 2010

Loving the red socks! Good luck tomorrow!

Oh I like running in the rain too, but not when it's right at freezing! And not when it's making the road icy (instead of just wet)! I hope it holds off!

Thanks for the laughs. How are you liking the Sugoi Compression Pants? I haven't found a place in my heart for mine yet.

Death and Back 2:15 PM, January 22, 2010

I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't think compression tights improve my speed. But you are right if I put them on after my run, I recover faster. Have fun running tomorrow, I hope the weather holds.

And with my first comment I will say that the cat one had my dying laughing to the point where my officemate started to make for the first aid kit.

Hysterical. We can be friends, I've decided.
