Semi-Wordless Wednesday: Our New Living Room

Last Monday, I posted about wasting taking a day to repaint our living room after my wife deemed the color not quite right.

But now, it looks like this:

That's new blue-grey walls (over the dark red), a whiter ceiling, new couch with chaise (in place of an old couch and loveseat), and a new rug. Sarah just purchsed a new floor lamp that will come soon (which will be put behind the chaise just out-of-frame to the left).

I didn't take any real "before" photos, but here's the color before as I was patching some cracks and peeling areas:

After peeling some paint and opening up some cracked walls,
and after lots of patching, texturing, and priming! (Before paint.)

Right now, the stairway and upstairs hallway is all patched and spot-primed, and I'll be painting the ceilings there today. Color on the walls shortly!
