also forgot the "I'm so tired" people. Every status us how exhausted they are with their oh-so-busy lives. Quit whining & go to bed already, then. those are the worst.
and what about the people who recycle song lyrics? holy.crap. this is why the new saying is so true: "Twitter makes me like people i don't even know, and FB makes me hate people I've actually met." or something like that.
Gotta love Chad's comment! Those are the very books people put on their shelves but never read.
I've read War and Peace (could use editing), A People's History (snooze), David Copperfield (middling Dickens), Brief History of Time (probably would've enjoyed it more if I didn't have a hard science background), Notes from the Underground (early and minor Dostoyevski), Gravity's Rainbow (the second-most overrated book, after Joyce's Ulysses), 100 Years of Solitude (meh), Farewell to Arms (liked it, but then again, I was 12), and American Pastoral (Roth is hit-and-miss; this was better than usual).
That leaves Infinite Jest and Moral Landscape for my reading list.
I get to peruse Facebook AND read. Maybe I'm an exception? Or, maybe it has to do with the fact that Facebook is blocked at work. Is that a bacon sandwich?
Hi folks. I'm Steve. I became Ironman in WI in 2007. Now I'm stuck somewhere between teaching, making photos, raising my sons, training for triathlons, and everything else.
