Two Winners of the Sony MP3 Player

Last week, I asked everyone to leave a comment to be entered in a Sony Walkman MP3 Player giveaway. I had 2 that needed to find a home:

The entire set-up (controls and storage built-in to the ear pieces)


The 2 MP3 players sitting in my kitchen, ready to be given away

So there were 233 comments in the giveaway. Many people (actually, the majority of people) earned "extra" entries by following me on Twitter, following my blog or subscribing to the RSS feed, and / or becoming a fan of Steve in a Speedo on Facebook.

So once all the extra entries were tallied, there were 562 numbers in the drawing!

So I went to random.org to pick a winner. I entered my variables:

I clicked on "generate," and I had my first winner:

Huh. Similar numbers. The early 400s were lucky I guess!....

Just for the hell of it (because I like to be a real jerk sometimes), I hit generate ONE MORE TIME to see who JUST BARELY missed out on winning a MP3 player. It was number 318:

Thanks to EVERYONE who entered! I really feel bad that I can't send some goodies home with everyone! :( But, Sony hopes to be getting me a "discount code" in the next few days that I'll make sure to share with all who entered so you can get the Sony Walkman MP3 Player at a discount!
