Every 5-8 years, I have to chip away loose spots in our foundation (mainly under our un-heated front porch). I took care of that back in late May, along with tearing up some caulk and busted concrete on our front steps:
I patched it with concrete in late May as well, and just 3 days ago (after a GOOD long cure while having a busy 5 weeks in June) I started to coat the bare concrete with primer:

And I primed the front steps, filled big cracks with a foam backer rod, and caulked those 2 nights ago:

I have some more "spot priming" to do on the foundation and steps, then some grey caulking along where the foundation meets the sidewalk in the 3rd photo (to touch up what I first did and haven't touched
since doing it 12 years ago), and finally 2 coats of paint.
