4 Weeks Without Swimming!

I've been missing the pool... a little. But not a lot.
It's been 4 weeks since I lost my membership at the U of M gym, and I'm not freaking out about it. Yet. I might start hitting up a community pool shortly, but I haven't felt the need yet.
In the 4 weeks where I've had no swim, I really only had 1 of those 4 weeks with an "actual" workout. The first week I was "pool-less" I went for a quick 20 mile ride in the evening (which is rare, but I fit it in during my boys' fencing class). The 2nd and 4th weeks I did nothing. I've been feeling a little wiped out lately (see the last half of Monday's post for more), so I've been OK just "resting" a bit more on those days. And on week 3, I just went out for an early 45 minute spin on my mountain bike - just a way to loosen things up before stretching well.
So instead of about 12,000 yards (just over 4 hours) of swimming on those 4 days, I instead did just 35 miles of biking (exactly 2 hours).
