Semi-Wordless Wednesday: My Family Running the Turkey Day 5K!

My family ran the "Turkey Day 5K" in downtown Minneapolis last Thursday! Here are a few pics:

Over 5600 people starting!


I walked a few blocks to the finish as the runners loop down to the river.


Here's 1st through about 6th back there! The top 8 were sub-17:00.


I saw this guy in his full turkey get-up pre-race, and he
looked fast. He ran around a 19:10 5K dressed to the nines.


... and he was chased by a chef. :)

... there he is! He ran a 24:18 on little training.


Charlie came SPRINTING through after sandbagging the whole race.
(He ran with my wife, but she couldn't keep up with his dead sprint!)
Charlie ran 32:05 and my wife ran 32:11.
