A Normal, Basic, Solid Week

Here's what last week looked like:

MONDAY'S long run was a bit shorter and without REAL good effort, but it was still fine.

WEDNESDAY'S and FRIDAY'S runs were on the treadmill, as we got some decent snow on Tuesday night. Wednesday was easy, and Friday was a fun descending treadmill tempo run: 3 hard miles with each half mile bumping my speed to 9.5, 9.6, 9.8, 10.0, 10.2, 10.4 (and then a bit more during that final half mile) for half mile splits of: 3:09, 3:08, 3:03, 2:59, 2:55, and 2:50.

Interspersed throughout the week was over 8 hours of strength work.

And THURSDAY and SATURDAY had some hour-long trainer rides with just a bit of effort: 6 x (2 min hard / 2 min easy) on Thurs, and just a building effort on Saturday.

I still haven't been back on the treadmill, which is good news! I've been having some knee achiness for the last 2 weeks, so I'm working to get that resolved. Otherwise, it's just back to normal training like this around here.
