The first day I biked, it was quite nice on the way to work: like 55 degrees and overcast. But then the rain started about 90 mintues before they thought, so I biked home in a 50 degree downpour. SUCKFEST.
That moisture turned to snow, and I found myself biking home in snow 2 days later. It was colder (around 35 degrees), but it was SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE biking in beautiful big flakes and not wet damp grossness:
Big flakes along River Parkway.
They were gathering on my hoodie (yes... shot while riding).
The paths were clear, but the bridges were starting to collect snow.
Only about a mile visibility over the river because of the snow.
In the middle (white with snow) are the cliffs at the end of Summit Ave.
