It took a full 4 weeks (Thanksgiving) before I got a single compliment on it, but since I've gotten quite a few. It was scuzziest around 10 days in. It started looking decent around 3 weeks in. And now when I get a haircut in a few weeks before Christmas, I'm planning on getting a "professional" beard trim as well. (Which means I'll have to go someplace other than my usual Great Clips or Cost Cutters.)

Wordless Wednesday: "No Shave November"
I posted this recently on Facebook:

Caption: "My brother-in-law and I both did "No Shave November," and our wives hated it. I've never seen Dave with a beard, and he can clearly grow it thicker and better than I can! We both trimmed our necks (because YUCK otherwise) and I think he kept his upper lip better trimmed than mine. Now the plan is to see how long our better halves will allow this hair to stick around... #HopefullyUntilNewYears"
