My boys love Richard Scarry books, especially the "Word Book" that has a TON of pictures. So when I saw this modern day spoof of that from Ruben Bolling, I thought it was EXTRA funny:

    We LOVED Richard Scarry at our house too! (And I did as a kid.) At one point, our older one was so obsessed with the Best Word Book Ever that we started hiding it so we could read something else with him!

    We've found some little-known Scarry books at church sales and the like. Our favorite is "The Great Pie Robbery" -- it cracks up adults as well as kids.
