Last week, my wife's cousin (and Godchild) came to stay with us for a few days. Pharmie had to work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so I hung out with Grace and Henry the whole time.
On Friday, we had a big day. It started with a 90 minute walk by the Mississippi:

On our way back, Grace decided to climb up under the Franklin Ave Bridge:

... and on her way back down.
Then she played with Henry on the porch as I hung up Christmas lights:
Finally on Friday, we did something that every 13-year-old girl wants to do on Black Friday: we went to the Mall of America. Henry LOVES new places, so we figured he'd probably be OK. We were ready to get out of there ASAP if he started getting cranky.

Black Friday: F*ck Yeah!

We didn't go out as much on Saturday (it was rainy and cold), but we DID make it to Izzy's Ice Cream Shop!
This past week, I had 2 random runs, and I'm hoping that will be enough to have a decent race at the track meet tomorrow where I'll be racing 5000 meters. Check back for a report on Monday!
Happy Weekend!
Love all the cute shots of both kiddos. Never get enough of those baby Henry shots! How was the art show?
ReplyDeleteYou've got a photogenic family there my friend!! Hahha I love the one of Henry finally awake at the mall - he looks like he just scored a sweet deal at babyGap. ;)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the track tomorrow!!
