CycleOps Trainer Giveaway!

Oh yeah. This is a good one!....

I got a goody package in the mail a few weeks ago from CycleOps. They wanted me to try out their JetFluid Pro Trainer. I took it straight down to the basement. Here's the package next to what it was about to replace:

I opened the box to find my new JetFluid Pro. It's all set up in the box - I just needed to take it out and fold open the legs. And the built-in levelers were MUCH better to use than the wooden shims I've been using with my other trainer.

As I turned the yellow knob, it "clicked" as it got tighter. My bike was in the trainer about 90 seconds after I opened the box:

I just had to turn the yellow handle behind the flywheel, push the flywheel up to my tire, and pivot the handle back to lock it in place. Seriously, like 3 minutes after opening the box, my bike was on my new trainer and ready to go:

The biggest difference I've felt is it's smoother as I get faster and faster. And quieter too! (Although it's not magically "whisper quiet" when I'm trying to maintain an interval at 23 mph! But.... duh.)

Oh, and then I had to clean up the cat barf behind my wife's trainer. It smelled like fish barf for the majority of our ride, but it just smelled like soap after I cleaned up the mess:

In that last photo, you can see the corner of my brother-in-law's trainer as well as the flywheel of my wife's trainer. Now I FINALLY have a CycleOps to match THEM!! Only now MINE is the better one! Ha!
