Friday Funny 70: My Mother-In-Law KNOWS Me!

At Christmas, I unwapped a box from my in-laws, and I found this box:

I laughed and said “Oooh, I hope it IS cheese!” I was joking, knowing that my mother-in-law had just reused a box. As soon as I opened the box, I saw this note on top:

Does my mother-in-law know me or what?!? She was laughing! Ha!!

Oh, and here’s our New Year Card this year:

Do you recognize any of those images? The images on the left are from our Cozumel trip last winter and from volunteering at IM WI this last year. The big image is the day before doing IM New Orleans 70.3 in April. And the image on the right is from after a "Tuesday Night Time Trial" this past summer.

Happy weekend!!

  3. Sorry you didn't get the cheese, but I had to laugh that someone actually makes string cheese gift boxes! Fantastic!

  8. Hmmmm... the kitties really should have been front & center. There's always next year.

  9. Her name is Sarah. Why didn't I know that? Guess she is always 'Pharmie' on the blog. Very nice.

  11. That's just as cruel as putting only a pair of shoelaces in the empty box of your favourite shoes. Not even a gift cert for the cheese of the month club?

  12. Mothers-in-law make it their business to know us -- somehow we've managed to convince their precious, beautiful daughters to "abandon" them and take up life with us.

  13. I'm concerned for those cats. I think it's pretty cycnical of you (you STINKER!), to exploit them on your annual Christmas card featuring mug shots of yourself as All-American Poster Boy. Well, we know better (MONSTER!).

As I see, it all comes down to CONSENT. I mean, INFORMED consent.

Otherwise, it's definitely a matter for the SPCA....

However, by now it's probably too late. By, now I'm afraid those cat's have been corrupted. Put them in a good home, and the next thing you know, their owners will be showing up all over the net, in compromising position with only-too-willing agile-tongued felines, and everything....

Poor Kermit! Liberation has come -- too late!
