Friday Funny 55: Wookiee

I’m convinced. A Wookiee has been living in our house and using our bathroom sink. Yesterday, I pulled this Wookiee fur out of our clogged bathroom sink:

Close up of the lower left

I hope you were eating. ;)

And thanks for all the advice and positive thoughts that you’ve all left in my last post. I’m taking your advice: a little speed work tomorrow, and maybe a bike ride OR an easier run next week. Then the 10 Miler next weekend. I’ll be resting up for it to see if that helps my “sluggishness.”

Oh, and the “speed work” for tomorrow means I’m doing a duathlon as a team with Pharmie’s brother Matt - he’ll be biking, and I’ll be doing the 2 mile and 3 mile runs. And a few CVA Triathlon Club students are coming to the race and will be doing their FIRST DUATHLON!! I have a busy day Saturday after the race, but I’ll put up some race photos as soon as I can! Wish the “duathlon virgins” luck!! Should be a fun race!

  1. Yikes! I had a similar situation a few months ago cleaning a shower drain except that it was about 3 foot ling when I removed the cover and those darn wookies smell like crap literally!

  3. Seriously if you NEVER post anything quite like that again it would be a-ok!

Tho the other week I went to use my bf's shower and when I turned on the water something similar to that floated from the drain...I decided to drive home to shower.

  5. You need to stop shaving your chest over that sink! That isn't as gross as the clump of hair/gu that the plumber pulled out of the tub at the beach house. YUCK.

On the speed, I am feeling slow too (I wish my fast was your slow!) but Jen says if I do what she says, it'll be there on race day. Trust the plan. We're running on tired, un-tapered legs. That shouldn't be the case on race day. Have a great time at the du.

Thanks for making us all puke in our mouths...

  13. That black stuff mixed in with the hair is really nasty. And that pale jelly-like stuff...WTF is that???

After your DU, get off your feet and be a couch potato and watch a few good movies with Pharmie and the kitties.

  14. That's just nasty! If I need help with my post-IM diet I'll just stop back by here and look at that.

  15. OMG. That's freakin' disgusting. I know I have pulled crap like that from my bathroom sink... and master bath, and to be honest, I thought of you and almost took pictures myself. LOL.

  16. You know how everyone has their little things that completely push them over the edge? Mine is hair. Anything involving hair that is not attached to someone. If I found that in my sink I think I might have to move. Now- I'm going to rinse the throw up out of my mouth.......

  17. I love getting rid of hair clogs. yes, it's gross, but then the sink works so well afterward. It's the little accomplishments that I relish in.
