So
Graph Jam just rocks. I totally geek out at the fun graphs and charts that they have. I collected 30 of my favorite for you today. I hope they make you chortle.
First, here are 13 graphs that visually illustrate song lyrics:
And here are 17 graphs that are just random and delicious:
So there are few of us going to a 6.23 kilometer run tomorrow. Yes, a “6.23 K” run. It’s for a fundraiser for school district 623. My costume will consist of a pile of newspaper that I will crinkle up...
...and stuff inside this costume so I will look like a plump, round, ripe tomato:
It should get some fun reactions! I’ll see if I can get Borsch to take a bunch of photos at the race. If you haven’t voted for me yet, please
go here and cast your vote! Thanks! Happy Friday!
those graphs are amazing. I am also a graph person, so had a good laugh!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the voting!
Curious....who long did that take you to post?
ReplyDeleteYou made my Friday funny Steve....:)
Can't wait to see the results of your 6.23K run.... especially the photos and the report. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteFunny graphs, I too am interested in seeing the 6.23K, hope you can get some good pictures for that.
ReplyDeleteman those where some funny graphs.
ReplyDeletecareful running as a tomato, one wrong step and SPLAT!
Wait. So if the spectators don't care for your performance in that costume, what will they throw at you? Your tomato brethren????
ReplyDeleteIt'll be a TOMATO HOLOCAUST!!

Good luck on the run. You already have my vote.
The graphs are great. They made me laugh out loud. Especially the laser pointer one. I can relate to that. LOL
ReplyDeleteThose are all funny! Have fun as a tomato on your run this weekend!
ReplyDeleteAhhh, now Friday has started.
ReplyDeleteThat's hysterical, Steve. Good call!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally putting the "Cowbell" graph on my blog. That is my favorite SNL skit of all time. Plus, everyone calls my kettlebells "cowbells." It's become a kettlebell insider's joke.
ReplyDeleteI voted and I think you're a shoe in! Good luck this weekend. Don't splat!!
You are the best! It is precisely because you put so much effort into the Friday funnies that I did, in fact, vote for you. Well done, sir - well done!
ReplyDeleteps - I now have that George Michaels song stuck in my head - crap!
These are so funny! Thanks for the Friday laugh and have fun tomato racing.

WHat is wrong with me??
Have a great run tomorrow and post those photos!!
LOL. You are the male equivalent to Marcy!
ReplyDeleteps that's a great compliment, BTW!
ReplyDeleteDid this take you all day? Seriously, very funny. You know what I've learned about blogging in a decimated economy, clusterfucked war, and the worst-run Republican campaign in history? That if you call the current President of the United States "Asshole of the Universe" you're gonna get a lot of hate mail. No kidding. I thought that was just general common knowledge About George by now. Who knew?
ReplyDeletehahahahah
ReplyDeleteNa, Hey, Goodbye and What People Call Me are my faves... I needed that :-))
Have a great time tomorrow.
Love the Curing a Fever/ Cowbell graph.
ReplyDeleteHey wait, I thought that Shaun kid who does all the snowboarding was called the Flying Tomato!!!
Did you make all those graphs?!?! Man, you must have aced your way through Geometry! ;-)
ReplyDeleteUmmmm...I didn't get the peanut butter one, but the rest had me rolling.
ReplyDeleteAren't you going to sound a little crinkly with all that newspaper in there? How about those little packing peanuts--so you can shake it up a little?
So...is this a tomato fundraiser?
OMG, those graphs are freakin' hilarious. Thanks for making me laugh. Can't wait to see your tomato pics. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Jeffrey Dahmer one.
