Three Things That Make Me Happy

1. The plantars wart that I’ve been treating for a few weeks finally died. The core got pulled out last night. Now I have this sweet hole in my foot:

2. The costumes for the TC Marathon are waiting for us in our guestroom. We’re breaking them out early tomorrow morning.

3. We had a bunch of bloggers over tonight for a pre-marathon meal. From left-to-right: Me, Pharmie, Robby B, Borsch, with Stu and Rural Girl in the front:

Yes, I’m wearing a shirt that says “Weinerland” with a
hot dog giving a thumbs up. What’s it to ya?

SO much fun!! Check back in a day or two to see how Pharmie, Stu, Robby, and Borsch did at the marathon! Good luck to all the racers!!

  2. Hole... ewww.

And it's so funny that you included what was on your t-shirt, cause I was actually sitting here trying to figure out what it said.

  3. Googd luck on the marathon cheering and good luck to all the marathoners (is that a word?). Hope the weather is cool so you don't become one big sweaty animal farm.

  4. oh man,

Stu is the first name I had heard once I started working on triathlon and it was his 365 goal (to get 365 newbies started) in 2007 that prompted to finally register for a race.

and I just love rural girl (just like, not like, like as my 13 year old son would say).

I hope that somehow I get the chance to meet them tomorrow.

    Good luck everybody!

  10. The only thing taking up more of my time then my of-late self-pity program is my blister fascination. My feet are literally covered with holes like that.

    Feet are gross.

  12. I really meant 'wart' not blister(s). Forgive me, I've only had 1.2-cups of coffee.

  14. Great seeing you at the race! I hope you were the chicken and not the pig or something. Your cousin/brother/in-law might not have known who that girl was who kept hugging him.
