Oh see now that is totally something I would have fun doing. The little kids idiocy that most of the grown-up people in my life just don't get anymore. Thanks for putting a smile on my face.
Fun! Sorry to be a blog hog, but funny scooter story:
I confiscated one from a student for riding it in my classroom and then during my prep period I thought I would try it. I rode it down the ramp of one of the portables only to run smack into the dean of students. He was NOT amused.
I had to explain to the student when he came to pick it up that I had gotten taken away too and he could pick it up from the dean.
We both got garbage duty at lunch (it was a joke, but I did it anyway in an orange jumpsuit. Pretty funny actually) *oops*
Based on the age of your accomplices, I would say you are their uncle?
Congrats, now you'll be known as...Oh, him? He's just crazy Uncle Steve. He used to be our favorite Uncle till he turned Michael into a turnip that needs 24-hour nursing care.
How did you not lose the scooter? Lake water is usually pretty murky.
ReplyDeleteI'll be there at Chisago!
ReplyDeleteAnd I also wonder - do scooters float?
I used to think you were a funny blogger...now I think you need a tv show!!
