I’M NOT READY!!!
Yes, that’s snow on our Halloween pumpkins, and snow (with ICE) in our birdbath. I’m a triathlete, not a flippin’ Eskimo! I need smooth, dry roads, not slick, icy, snow-covered death-traps! OK, I know, I live in Minnesota and it’s November...but I don’t want the warm air to leave us for 6 months!! I have more biking to do yet!!
Poop. I think the cold air is here to stay. And that white crap will soon be all over. Double poop.
Loud audible gasp.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, Texas......where 40 degrees is consider bone chilling :-)
ReplyDeleteNOOO!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya homie!! NOthing but cold heading this way. BLAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
ReplyDeleteThe pumpkins in L.A. are covered with white powder too. Street value $750-$1000.
ReplyDeleteLet it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
ReplyDeleteGet a bike trainer, Yeti.
Or with all that body hair, do you go with Wookie?
Steve~
ReplyDeleteTri Dummy and I won't be far behind you here in Nebraska. I am sure that you and Pharmie have learned to enjoy it like my husband and I (or at least just I!) have. XC Skiing, snow shoes, cleats on the bottom of the running shoes, whatever floats your boat. I even manage to get hill repeats in between sled runs! When that happens, I will have to do a post on it!
How about snow sports?
ReplyDeleteTime to hit the trails and become like a grizzly bear.
ReplyDeleteHere is old Wisconsin, there is a thing called Frozen Fools Challenge ( http://michaelscycles.net/page.cfm?pageID=134 )
ReplyDeleteBasically, you join the team, bike at least 5 miles every day from 1/1 to 4/1 and whoever logs the most miles/days wins. No prize, just glory.
Passes the time anyhow.....
brrrr. It was 65 on the pool deck this morning in South Tex-Ass. Should warm up to 70 something for my run at lunch.
